Work Experience - Senior Technical Operator and Camera Operator (7th October 2024)

BBC News Midlands Today | BBC Studios

I shadowed a Senior Technical Operator and Camera Operator and learned a lot about how News and Live Television works. I had the opportunity to see what a typical day within the Studios at Birmingham looks like, as well as a chance to sit in the gallery during a rehearsal and I was fortunately given the opportunity to set up a shot during the 6 o'clock Live News.

Work Experience - Camera Assistant and Runner (14th-15th September 2023)

Coronation Street | ITV Studios

I shadowed the camera assistant and runner department over the course of two days. I learned a range of skills, including coiling, how to do a line up, how to organise cables into 8s, what markings to use for talent, back focus and more.

Liaison (20th May 2023)

I worked as the liaison between the crew at TellyJuice and the Coronation Street Experience. I was afforded the opportunity to observe the production process firsthand and loved every moment.
